What VisualTexture can do for you:
VisualTexture is not just yet another set of procedural textures. It really offer the way to let you create your own textures without the need to spend hours trying to figure out how to use Lightwave layers to do it, or code yourself your own procedural texture. But it doesn't stop just to textures. You can use it to deform objects, as an image filter or more. Let's check the principal features of VisualTexture.
The real strength of VisualTexture is the ability to use components/textures to modify the parameters of other components. You can mix Lightwave own procedural textures within VisualTexture as well as use VisualTexture more or less everywhere in Lightwave (like image filter, shader, and procedural textures).
In this example above, we see how a "ZoneScale" can change the size of the "Circle" shape within a repetitive pattern.
Here two textures are mixed using a 3rd one. Of course this example would be possible using Lightwave layers. But it will just require a lot more time, and you will not have an overview of the effect of each layer.
Even complex textures like a dirty wall can be easily created. You will have access to a library of pre-made textures which will train you how to fully use the tool.
Preferences let you choose a lot of aspect of how VisualTexture react.
Left to right or right to left display. The whole texture will be re-ordered without problem. Even sharing textures with other people using the other direction is not a problem as VisualTexture will always present you the texture in the order you choose.
As we do not work only on flat area, VisualTexture let you preview the components in 2D or applied on a sphere.
Anybody would be lost without some documentation about all the parameters offered by the components. That's why we offer not only a full manual which cover the general usage of VisualTexture as well as a reference to our components, but we offer also an online reference of all the available components.
You may use even lights to control how the textures are applied or create special cartoon effects. This gives you an almost endless number of possibilities.
You can of course use VisualTexture to produce incredible effects with Hypervoxels, volumetric lights or environments.
You can even use VisualTexture to create Post effects on your image.
Finally, VisualTexture with the help of IFW2 let you even use VMAPS to controls the parameters of the components (click on the image to zoom it). And of course you could use VMAPS to blend one texture to the other as any other Lightwave procedural texture.
If you want to check what can do one of the amazing component offered within VisualTexture, just check out our "Bomber" component.
For a limited time, we will offer VisualTexture at the amazing price of 105$ (instead of 119$ for the full version). Offer valid until end August 2005.
